We have a reputation for serving great food, blending freshly cooked, locally sourced popular dishes and an exciting specials board featuring the absolute best of seasonal Scottish produce. We have recently been awarded a repeat certificate of excellence from TripAdvisor (every year from 2014/21).

The business encompasses a 50 cover restaurant/bar with a 70 seater tearoom/function suite (Pitlessie Pantry), serving a wide variety of fixed business and functions. We have 3 boutique letting rooms, which have added breakfasts and brunches to our provision and have already achieved a guest award, with a rating of 9.6 /10. Our latest addition, the “Outside Inn”, adds another 60 covers and a beautiful outdoor dining/drinking area in line with current legislation and trends.

The post of Assistant Head Chef offers you a fast moving, exciting environment with a wide variety of daily challenges. You will be involved in all aspects of the kitchen environment including food ordering/rotation/preparation, stock control, dealing with suppliers, cleaning schedules and compliance with all current legislation including allergens.

You will work closely alongside the Head chef, the management and the business owners to achieve these tasks. You will ensure that high quality dishes are produced consistently and delivered timeously to exceed customer expectations, upholding the existing reputation of the business whilst pushing on to new heights.
